Yesterday was such a beautiful day and I was able to get out and about in the countryside. I was out geocaching, as well as enjoying my photography but the atmosphere and the tranquility almost took my breath away.
When I walked along this old track I suddenly stopped and took in the view, all I could hear were the birds and the water running under the bridge in the foreground, and to be honest I thought isn't life just wonderful. That may sound strange, but I was in my element and the countryside I live in, what more could I want at the particular time.
After crossing the river you can see where the track goes over a humped bridge and the canal, I turned left onto the old towpath and walked a mile further on with my camera very active. More to follow.
