It was a geocaching walk today and my route included this track up to the woods. It really was a nice walk and the views were fantastic even with it being a bit misty. What is really nice is that the modern world of cars, noise and everyone rushing around is nowhere to be seen and I could look and listen at all the birds and wildlife.
Now I found the cache just a little further on by field entrance, you can just make it out on the right of the track, so that last very steep climb up into the woods was not necessary, thankfully.
What a peaceful looking walk! Would love to be hiking that path myself. You are so fortunate to have hills and mountains in the distance. We are very flat at sea level here. sighs
Very nice scene! I am going to try and get a couple tomorrow as I took a vacation Day... and maybe a new Subaru, as I love my wifes!! The hill does look tempting though...lol
