Cotswold Houses in a Glen. by ladymagpie

Cotswold Houses in a Glen.

Spotted these lovely houses in a small glen with a river running in front and also some well manicured lawns. Such an idyllic spot out in the countryside. What I'm not sure about is whether they are new or old houses that have been monernised, what do you think.

As always I took several captures so that I could pick out my favourite to share with you. It wasn't until I uploaded them to the PC that I noticed a great big electric cable running right across all of them. Thankfully I have a cloning app in my picture editor which I used to remove it, you can't see it anymore.

Thank you for your comments and FAV's on my crocus yesterday, I really appreciated your concerns about how I got up. If I had stayed any longer the gardener could have used me as a lawn roller.
A great capture , so architecturally pleasing.

Difficult to say Heather but I would think newish but had to be built in keeping with the rest of the area. Wasn't sure about the roofs as they look quite dipped in places but a lovely village.

The stone is such a beautiful soft colour

If they are new, it's great that they have to build in the old style to maintain a beautiful village look :)

Difficult to say, but I would guess that they are old. They may build the occasional new house to fit in with the old style village, but I wouldn't think that they would build a whole street of them.
Are the roofs made of slate.
