Hare today, Gone tomorrow by ladymagpie

Hare today, Gone tomorrow

Needed to pop up to my football club yesterday to sort out a few things ready for next season. Near the ground was this very colourful creature which is one of the AONB Cotswold Hare Trail 2018, it has been sponsored by Forest Green Rovers.

This one is called Hare-y Kane, after the England football captain Harry Kane and was designed and painted by Sarah Davis in our club colours, it stands 5 foot tall.

There are well over 100 of these colourful hares all around the Cotswold and are out from May 22 to September 9th, after which they will be auctioned for charity of the Cotswold AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). So as I said they are "Hare today, gone tomorrow.

I was told I couldn't rabbit on as they are hares so here's a little video instead: http://stroudcommunity.tv/public-art-hare-y-kane-at-fgr/

I wonder how one could participate in that auction? Would a hare swim across the pond?
