My shopping trip was a real Triumph today

I was coming out of the supermarket this morning when I noticed a real rocker with his girlfriend loading the motorbikes panniers with their shopping. I asked if they minded me taking this photograph.

It reminded me of my 1960's days when there were Mods and Rockers. Rockers on their bikes and Mods on their scooters. Must admit I was a Mod myself with a scooter and I wore a cagole with fake sheepskin around the hood.

What did any of you lot have in the 60's, well if your old enough to remember.

No scooter or motorbike for me in the 60's, just a humble bicycle, but I met hubby in the late 60's and he had a Fiat 500 (hubby is 1.93m...).

I had a 65 Plymouth Belvedere. Before that it was a Schwinn.

I have two older brothers one who had a Triumph motorbike & the other was a Mod with his Scooter when they were teenagers.... made for some interesting times !!!
I got to ride on both the bikes as I was the little sister !
