It was very cold as I ventured out today to find a geocache, the car thermometer showing 2 degrees C, definitely thermal bloomers needed today. The walk took me to one side of the canal and I noticed that the wildlife must have stayed at home with their feet up by the fire.
Must admit it was a lovely clear day and this is in one of my favourite areas. The geocache was located and I had a few lovely conversations with passing dog walkers, I had my camera in hand so they didn't have a clue what I was really up to.
I was glad to get back to my car with the heating full on as I made my way home to my little nest. Certainly didn't fancy a paddle in the canal on a day like today.
Nice. Stay warm. I follow a YouTuber, "Cruising the Cut", and I think it would be interesting to cruise the canal system in the UK, or the canal system on Mars, oh wait, the is sci-fi, silly me.
Glad you’re feeling well enough to go out on your favourite hobby Heather. It was cold here too, I think I got chilled as I haven got warm since! Big fire on but still I feel a bit cold.
