I'm coming to the end of my bird series but felt that I must share with you my Garden Vacuum Cleaner. In fact I have a pair of them, Mr. & Mrs. Vacuum Cleaner. also known as Mr. & Mrs. Wood-Pigeon.
All day long they walk around under the bird feeders vacuuming up all the dropped seeds and suet pellets. Mrs. Vacuum Cleaner is a good worker, whilst her husband, unfortunately has other things on his mind.
The words that come to mind at all his antics are, "Not today dear I've got a headache". Fortunately not only does he forget to vacuum all the dropped suet and seeds, but he also fails to SUCK-SEED in his passionate attempts with the good lady.
And yes he looks pigeon toed, best viewed with a dark surround.
