What's this Ear

There is one disadvantage to having a very popular bird feeders, with hundreds of in and outs throughout the day. It what they through away that can cause the most trouble.

I've just had to pull out loads of these ears of wheat from the side of the patio. I'm sure it's the birds fault because I hadn't planted them.

Perhaps I should harvest them for my breakfast.

Its not all they leave behind either - white splashes all over our decking until I moved the feeder into the trees!
