I'm back in the local newspaper with a "Past and Present" article, similar to several years ago when it was then called "Then and Now".
It is really enjoyable to take an old photograph from my area and try and match the same position where the photographer stood when taking the picture over 100 years before.
You then compare the views, making notes of the changes and the effect on the local people. There is sometimes a problem as the cameras of years ago can give a different perspective, longer distance etc.
