In our village and the one at the bottom of the hill we have some lovely old buildings, with even newer ones built to blend in nicely. Now this building down the hill must be one of the most ugliest buildings around, although well used.
In my own village the last shop closed 36 years ago, well I should know as I bought it and it was converted to my bungalow.
In the other village when I moved here all those years ago there were 10 shops or businesses. Now there is only 4 which includes this building which is the local store and Post Office.
Just looking at the picture you can tell it's the Post Office by all those posts outside. I do use it on the odd occasion and the staff are lovely, but I do find the prices so much higher than the bigger supermarkets. It is open 7 days a week which is an advantages if your run out of an item.
So there you go, if you want an urgent sausage you go to the ugliest building in the village
