I was standing in my porch watching these two in my front garden, they were having one humdinger of a scrap. Now I can't tell a male wood pigeon from a female one, well it's not as if they have different hair styles is it, and they seem to be dressed the same.
Going by the attitude of both of them they were definitely two males arguing over a female that was watching close by. It made me think for a minute, when was the last time 2 human's scrapped over my attention.
There is a simple answer to that one, never unless it was a salesman trying to give me the best bargain at the market. Anyway, the way these two were arguing and staring at each other, I would have rather have gone off for a Chinese takeaway than to wait for this fight to finish.
They do look rather intense.
I hope you went for the takeaway. I called our local takeaway last night and asked them if they delivered.... and the said no we just do chicken and fish :)
The one on the left looks very indignant....keep away from my woman! There were some rooks having a real old scrap on our neighbours roof yesterday...mating time!
