I found another secret door as I walked around the village, it was up a little bank and in the middle of a hedge. It does look a bit weather beaten with the top rotting away. I wasn't tall enough to peer over the top, and of course what would I have seen, or get a poke in the eye.
There is a well known saying that springs to mind with this door, "Blue and Green should never be seen, unless there's a colour in between". I prefer to have painted it green as per the hedge, and it wouldn't have been so obvious.
Mind you is it was green it would cause us oldies to all break into song. Yes you've got it

Did you know his real name was Michael Barret and he's now 73 years old. Perhaps I should find out who's door it really is and get it painted that green colour.
I can only remember Frankie Vaughan singing Green Door. I’m giving my age away now! 1956....I look at the chart for that year & can remember almost all of the songs.
