Sweetcorn Path of Death.

I thought this might amuse some people. I was out geocaching on my own when after walking down a rough path I came to a style. I knew I had to go directly over the next field for about 400yds to the next stile.

This is the footpath across the field that confronted me. I'm vertically challenged being only 5ft 3 inch and the field was full of sweetcorn growing about 6-7ft tall.

As I crossed the field I could see nothing and had to keep stopping to listen in case the farmer was harvesting. It seemed ages until I came out the other side but spot on the next stile.

@claireuk Why did the chicken cross the road, to get to the other side. I the same way, why did the geocacher cross the field, to get the cache in the next field. Yes Claire I was concerned.

@philcameron59 Phil I think I would have been safer if I had carried a flag on top of my walking pole, holding it up in the air. The only way I knew I was on the right track was by walking on solid earth, note soft earth.
