While the ruling today didn't effect me directly, this ruling did: Loving v. Virginia in 1967.
The majority isn't always right. if that wouldn't have happened in 1967 my husband and i wouldn't have been able to marry almost two years ago. Now it seems silly to think a couple of different races shouldn't marry, one day we will look back and think the same of same sex marriage.
