Thanksgiving Dinner

I made thanksgiving dinner for the first time. Mainly because we do not celebrate that here. But I'm ready to celebrate any holiday that involves food. We also do Chinese New Year and Cinco de Mayo.

So I made a roasted chicken stuffed with bread, pork, cranberries and Porto; gravy from the chicken; pumpkin and carrot mash; topinambour purée; oven baked onions; apples with currants; and a fresh quinoa, corn and cucumber salad.

That should be enough for 2 people, I think!

What is a topinambour? I don't think I've ever heard of it!
