Chiropractor's Dream

Blade and power shearing championships were held today at Errowangbang Station at Carcoar, New South Wales, Australia. This old fellow's back has obviously said enough. This architecturally designed shearing shed once had 40 stands (40 shearers working simultaneously in the old blade shearing days). It was built in 1886 and comprises four floors and now is gradually being restored back to its former glory. The original property was once 100,000 acres and shore 3000 sheep per day.
Very interesting. A picture that tells its own story, plus an informative commentary! Excellent image too. FAV!
