Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse by landownunder

Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse

The tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia and still a vital working lighthouse, although now automated. At 39 metres it was amazingly constructed in one year from limestone in 1895. It lies on the most south - westerly point of Australia at Augusta, Western Australia where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet. It was inspiration for M.L. Stedman when writing her novel ' A light between two oceans' (A great read).
It would be great to see, thank you for sharing :)
