The view towards Sorède

The flowering trees are mimosa, and they are grown commercially for their flowers. Probably this week they will be harvested and by next weekend Parisian florists will be using them. We used to have mimosas in our garden. They are easily damaged by wind and snow, and the seed pods make such a mess that we decided to remove them all.
The mimosa trees here have pinkish flowers. They are popular in landscaping, but not as cut flowers
