Wow, what a spectacular shot! & such a great place to capture the Eiffel tower from (where is this? - wish I knew about it when I was there earlier this year!). Love the colours & lighting of the sky...and the whole composition - wonderful image.

You really need to get back from the tower to get some perspective . Nothing prepares you for the physical size of it . Along with the Clifton Suspension Bridge it is one of the great sights I have seen , add the The Dom Luís bridge in Porto and the The Forth Rail bridge in Queensferry to that list. Beautifully shot Tim fav....

@yorkshirekiwi @leggzy It was taken from the terrace outside the Museum of Architecture in the Jardins du Trocadero, which is on the other side of the river from the tower, to the North. Hope you get a chance to visit Paris again - you both seem to enjoy travelling.

@jack4john You're quite right about needing some distance, and at the moment there is so much work going on it is hard to get a shot without including something distracting. I like your list of structures too. I've never been to Sydney or San Francisco, but I have been to NY and would add the Brooklyn Bridge to your list.
