Saint-Cirq-Lapopie was voted the prettiest village in France by the readers of Paris Match. Judging by the number of car parks around, plenty of people agree. But on a wet Wednesday morning in March, Jasper and I, together with two Spanish ladies, had it all to ourselves.
@jack4john Last week two communes decided to ban all meetings of more than 50 people. TV News decided to report on that by talking to people who had weddings planned, also to a wine merchant who said 20% of his business was weddings. All we can do is hope for the best, that sunlight and warm weather and intelligent government action will put a stop to this virus. But if not, then things will get back to normal one day, and Lautrec will still be there - it has survived previous plagues, wars, revolutions. By chance on my way to Gaillac last week I passed close to Lautrec so stopped and took some picures of the old city. I'll let you know when I post them on my blog.
@bob65 Hi Bob, just to let you know that I am now using PhotoLab. I've not mastered it but I am very satisfied with the results. I will eventually add the NIK Collection, but I won't be going back to Lightroom.
@laroque I now use the latest version of DXO with NIK and am very pleased with the results. I also use Affinity Photo for some minor corrections but do not like it's RAW converter.
