Confinement, day 19 (Communication & continuity) Postboxes of France #9
I thought that my Postboxes of France project would have to go on hold for the duration of the confinement. There are four in our village, but none have photogenic qualities. This one is outside the Crêperie Saint-Félix in the old part of Laroque. I thought that with a different viewpoint and the addition of a dog, it might make a decent photo, good enough for my project anyway.
I belong to an Internet club for postcard swapping, called Postcrossing. Somebody asked for a postcard of a French postbox, and since I couldn't find any I started looking for interesting postboxes to make my own postcards. It's a useful photographic exercise, trying to produce engaging photos of a relatively mundane object.
This looks like it was a successful effort! But then, in my opinion, you could photograph a blank wall and as long as Jasper is in the picture it would be wonderful! 😉🐕 And bonus points for his typical tongue lolling!!
