Afternoon at the lake 1

Short day trip to the local lake, it is frozen over and gives a cold stark look to January. Hard to photograph anything it was very cold and windy.

It looks so peaceful and quiet. Nice day for a thermos of coffee and soup while you shoot out there.

@marlboromaam It was not a quiet as you might think, the ice fisherman were drilling holes in the ice.

Nice that you could get out and get a shot. I’m sure we are warming than you, but I sure don’t want to go out into the wind and rain. I think your shot really gives a feeling of winter.
