Everything is dry...
because of the heat, people are constrained not to water their gardens with drinkable water. We have a well and could use groundwater, but currently we also don't water the garden. But I fill the bird baths with fresh water two or three times a day (because the water gets warmer and warmer during the day)
Agree, the water restrictions are bad. Where do you live Lastrami? I am in Cape Town, and we just went through 2 years of water restrictions. down to 50 litres per person per day.
@ninaganci I live in Germany, it's not really critical here. But the last weeks it was unusual warm again, and we were appealed to use drinkable water sparingly (not water the garden, or to choose a quick shower over a bath). Easy to realize. Last summer, some farmers had problems to give enough water to their animals :'( People brought it with tankers were needed.
