Gosh I tried SO HARD not to add another picture of Charlie :) But I finally decided...I have so many good ones of him that I want to share, that I am going to have a Charlie Week NEXT week :) Mon - Fri...all Charlie...and his cute little nut...and his big bushy tail...and his fat, plump squirrel body :)
Well, that is unless I absolutely love the theme chosen for next week lol but I can always add a picture for the theme next Saturday...so we'll just see :)
Anyways...since I am on Spring Break...well...it's pretty much over now...but I have been setting an alarm so I can wake up early instead of sleeping in until 12!!! I feel like it completely wastes my day. AND...although it is tough for me to do..I have been attempting to go to bed much earlier than 12 :) I mean...school starts THIS MONDAY !! Darnit. ;)
So I woke up around 8:30 AM...and I WAS going to add another picture of Charlie...but when I looked outside the grass was SOO pretty!! It was all sparkly...and I had to get some pictures :) 66 to be exact. I went kinda picture crazy...but I decided to go with this one..because of the pop of orange and the faded background. Enjoy! :)
Nice shot. Looking forward to Charlie Week. Do you compensate him for his time? Maybe some special nuts for him to snack on? And do you think you could have come up with a few more tags? :-)
rayswrld - I feed Charlie corn :) and nope...I dont think I could come up with anymore tags...but if you have any ideas, feel free to let me know ;) ;)
It's so funny because when I got up at about the same time I thought the same thing. But I didn't grab my camera....I was too lazy to do that! haha! So, I'm glad that you took this picture and were able to show the morning dew...but I think it was really frost. I hope all the flowers are okay. Yes, it's back to school for us on Monday and then 7 weeks to go. Summer will be here soon.
So pretty, i love the colours! i also cannot wait for the Charlie Week! :)
and it's funny, i've been getting up at midday and sleeping later than 12am and thought the same thing. however, i really haven't been doing anything about it haha :)
Lauren, You said I've made the popular page?!?!? Two days in a row. Oh boy. How will I deal with all this celebrity? Maybe it is time for a self portrait to see if I can get my swelled head in the pic. :-)
Mrs. Smith - I think the flowers survived...I went out later to get a bunch of pictures...although it wasnt in my backyard, it was at highland park :) me and some friends went there to hang out. Well...for me I just took pictures lol but still had fun! and yes...school Monday...but 7 weeks isnt TOO bad :)
Her - thank you!! and I'm so happy you're excited :) :) Charlie is too.
Karen - you CAN do it!!! :)
Kathleen - thanks! same to you :D
rayswrld - yes! you did! it made me happy :) because I know you truly appreciate it. and you SHOULD do a self portrait!!! all I can see of you is your forhead in your profile picture because the camera blocks your face. :)
Lauren, this is such a beautifully brilliant shot, it just makes me smile.
Everyday you create such a unique image. Everyday, I look forward to YOUR pictures ( and have felt so bad, missing them the last couple of days! ), maybe even most of all ( though I love so many others, as well! ;-).
My daughter and her fiance started this project today ( under my followers/following - Ian&Kelsey ), and I am so happy..since I can look forward to seeing their daily images from t he UK. Anyway, I told my daughter al about you, so I hope they follow you, too!
Lauren...everything you say to me, I could say back to you.
I feel like I understand YOU so well, too!
And I greatly admire EVERYthing that you do.
I know that I certainly didn't have the wisdom and understanding at 17, that you have, and I've worked with young people all of my life, so I REALLY know how truly unique you are!
( though, I feel really lucky, because my kids are pretty uniquely fabulous too, as are their partners...but OH...I am just bragging, now! Hee )
PS..no....Kelsey is nowhere near as wordy as me, not in written form, anyway ( And that's a good thing. ) .....though, she HAS written and starred in her own play, which was awesome!
Dr Suess said..."So the writer who breeds more words than he needs, is making a chore for the reader who reads." Sometimes I think he wrote that just for me! ;-)
Anyway, Kelsey and I can certainly talk up a storm when we're together, or on Skype.
Ian is an amazing writer, so you might see him writing a lot.
love your close up especially the water drops hanging on the grass. it is absolutely a perfect picture as all of yours are. so we are looking forward to a week of charlie wonderful he is so cute.
Barb - that's interesting to know!! nevertheless...I am looking forward to follwing them. are they alternating days or something?? I think Ian is the one who wrote about the first photo. am I right? They seem like such a cute couple :)
bruni -you are just too kind bruni. I cant smile anymore than I am at the moment. that is how big of a smile I have on my face. I think soon I will need to have surgery..to get it removed. I have been smiling WAY too much lately because of this site lol and I am glad you are looking forward to a week of Charlie :) I am too.
Bonnie - ahh! that means so much Bonnie :) :) I thought it was a wonderful way to start off the day too. so beautiful :)
And this picture made the popular page. No matter how they choose those pics, monkeys or bees, it belongs there. And you seem to be very popular so it fits.
What a lovely pattern this made! You always have such a marvelous way of caturing things in your viewfinder! ...you know me...looking forward to a week of Charlie! I love that he's so individually special to you!
Ray - HAHAHAHAHHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA well all be darn...you thought of more tags ;)
Louise - he really is :) It makes me so happy that people are looking forward to a week of Charlie!! I hope he's out again...and that I catch him. I hope to get some more funny shots ;)
wow, FABULOUS bokeh. This makes me wanna get up early everyday. Sunrises and sunsets really are the best time to get beautiful light. Plus the DEW! gorgeous. I actually have been getting up early a few times each week, but it's only because I'm meeting one of my friends at the gym, so it's not like I have time to take pictures... This makes me wanna get up early on the other days too, though, when I usually sleep until I only have half an hour to dress, eat, and skip along to class.
@briannaleigh - mannn I really need to start working out. but I'm sooooo unmotivated! I'll run one day and say I will for the rest of the week. every day. but nope. that never happens lol
yeah there are definitely benefits to getting up early. I love early morning dew. or frost... depending on the season it is :)
The ONLY thing that keeps me working out is that I meet with my friend Angela. Seriously. That's the ONLY thing. On the days we don't meet, I sleep until it's time to leave for class. Then I just roll out of bed and go to class. I'm just as unmotivated, lol.
@briannaleigh - so I need to find a work out friend in college youre saying? I agree :) I'm kind of like that right now in calculus... the ONLY thing getting me through is my friend Emily. and starbucks :) teeheheee. seriously... having a friend do it with you is FOR SURE more motivating.
lol, I think everyone (no matter what age or stage in life) should have a work out buddy. :) Ahhhh, calculus... I remember calculus... My best friend, Lisa, and I did everything together our senior year. When our calculus teacher had us do group projects with assigned groups, she put us together because she knew we were best friends. She claims that it was because she wanted all the partners to be balanced so that it wouldn't end up with one person doing all the work, but I know it's ACTUALLY because of the best friend thing. :)
@briannaleigh - myyyyy math teacher is more the opposite. she would rather us work with people we dont know so well... which I think its pretty stupid because I KNOW who I work best with and those happen to be people I'm closer to... whatever, I get by ;) but your math teacher seems coooler :P
lol, :), I'd have to agree with you. My math teacher was SUPER cool. Most teachers normally split up the usual groups. And that was okay, sometimes, mainly just for things in class. When you're working outside of class, I think it's better to work with people you know. You're almost done with high school anyway, and you'll probably be able to pick all your partners in college. ;)
cant wait for Charlie's Week =)
Emily - thank you :)
Naya M. - wow, that means soo much!
Jill - hahahhahaha bokehlicious. Thats funny.
and it's funny, i've been getting up at midday and sleeping later than 12am and thought the same thing. however, i really haven't been doing anything about it haha :)

This is so great! I adore the bokeh.
You should definitely put something bigger to focus on next time, that'd be super awesome.
But nonetheless, I still adore this.
Great job girl!
