I think I might know why the squirrel around my yard is not as friendly as Charlie. To me it seems that Charlie is browner and the guy running along the top of our fence every day is grayer. Different variety of squirrel? Different in their social makeup? Interesting theory or bunk? Hmmm.

I think Charlie would LOVE to meet up with the little dude ;) and I have a feeling....brown vs grey squirrels makes a big difference. I have never heard of a super tame grey squirrel. I only hear of them being jumpy and running away. Idk what it is, but Charlie is one of a kind.

Thought of you today in the park Lauren...one "little girl" was sitting on her haunched and she's definitely preggers! It would be so cool to see babies, but we're leaving the area for the summer in less than a month...boo hoo... You're going to have to carry the torch as I fear I'll be squirrel-less for the summer...
I know this is completely random but your "preggers" comment reminded me. I saw hummingbirds mating yesterday!!! I was so bummed. I had them in focus and then they flitted off and I missed them. It was amazing! (In a weird I-am-excited-to-see-animals-mating kind of way)
