Random note to self: When I grow up, I am going to have at least one flower tree in my yard...even if that means planting one :)
ps) I'm not having the best of days...I'm tired and I am LOADED with hw!! so I don't have time to do much browsing to night...or to spend time writing an essay of a caption haha but I just thought this was pretty and felt like sharing a random photo I had after doing a tinsy winsy bit of editing. Hope you're having a wonderful Monday!
psps) oh my gosh! I just noticed! 100 photos for me! :D I'm so glad I found this site. I wish it wasn't just a year thing. If I could and had the time...I'd do it forever :D....hmm...maybe..... ;)
I keep telling my husband that when we buy our first house, I want it to have a flowering tree in the front yard. He feels the need to remind me about the mess they make when the petals fall to the ground. What a killjoy, no? I (heart) flowering trees. And, lovely shot as always.
thanks guys!
Ashley - This isn't my favorite shot ever...then again I'm just in a crummy mood :P thanks for making it better though! your comment really did lift my spirits.
Beautiful picture...and I love flowering trees as well! I agree...about today. Not the best of days. I'm exhausted! It was a long Monday! hope you get your homework completed okay...and just think...two more Mondays! Happy 100!
This is really pretty. You can keep going after a year you know? Apparently the first photos get replaced or something. I don't really know. Or you can pay and add your albums together so you don't lose any. I think.
First of all! I LOVE Mama Barb! Hee.
Secondly, I JUST uploaded my photo today, and I did a B&W with selective colouring, too!
Thirdly, I'm not having a great day, either!
We are so in sync! ;-)
Love this Lauren!
And I think you have it right. When you have your own place, you really have to have a flowering tree!
Even if you live in a apartment...you can plant containers on your balcony. I just gave my mom a ( PURPLE! ) clematis, for her balcony, for Mother's Day...so it's possible to grow stuff on one.
AND Happy 100!!!
About the hw....you know, it's always darkest before dawn! ;-)
When you can see the end in sight, it always seems to be the time that you feel the most overwhelmed, the most helpless, at your lowest ebb.
All you can do is push through as hard as you can, and being busy really DOES make the time fly.....and before you know it, it will be summer and you'll be off taking amazing photos in the great outdoors, this week having been long forgotten!
If anyone can do this, you can....I've no doubt!
Mrs.Smith - I'm soo exhausted too. maybe I'll actually get to bed early? :P If I get my hw done in time that is :P thanks for making me feel that much better...knowing that there are only 2 more mondays to go makes me feel loads bettter. oh and one thing: would you mind telling Vester to let off on all the hw and essays :) hahaha
Andrea - =} =}
Rachael- hmmm. interesting...I'll have to look into it. are you going to stop at 365 photos?
Barb - Yea I adopted you :) hope you dont mind :)
and that makes me feel so much better....I love being in "sync" with you! It makes me feel not so lonely. ooooh and PURPLE!!!!! yay that was THE PERFECT choise of clematis :) I'm going to have to plant puprple clematis now on my balcony when I get older...in honor of Barb, in honor of my favorite color, and in honor of our "syncness" hahaha Thanks so much Barb for all of the kind supportive encouraging words!! You are a major spirit booster...God kknew I needed you in my life! ;)
Joe - hehehehe. yea....that comment was perfect :)
Pictures are a magical and very strong force.
I commented your shot yesterday and it reminded me of something, but I couldn’t remember what it was.
This night I had I dream, and this morning I suddenly remembered what it was, back in 1983 27 years ago I saw I film by Francis Ford Coppola called “Rumble Fish”. It was in black and white
and stared Mickey Rourke and Matt Dillon.
The only thing of color in this film is the “Rumble Fish”.
Thanks fore giving me this wonderful flashback, this morning I was 19 fore a short while.
Love this flower tree!!! Beautifully photographed!! I alreay have a whole list of shrubs and trees and plants I want in my yard...can't resist the blossoms! :-)
