I went back in time!! ;D

haha okay not really. but have you ever been to Colonial Williamsburg? it is about an hour or so away from Va Beach and there, you really get a feel for what it was like back then...there are a lot of little shops to look around in, old buildings and rooms that were really used a long time ago, and people that walk around in in costumes...like the guy I'm standing with!! :D

So again I apologize for the late upload... we didnt actually go to Williamsburg today; we went yesterday...but I didnt really take any pictures today...we spent most of our day just relaxing, swimming in the pools, and boogie boarding in the ocean :D

Okay, about this picture: Is that guys face not priceless? I just LOVE it! haha and he had to be really REALLY hot in that outfit...I was wearing a long sleeve shirt because it was supposed to rain and get chilly out..but really it was just super humid and there was no sign of rain...I'm just glad I wore those shorts! oh and yes...that is oxen poop in the background. Hopefully you didnt notice it until I just mentioned it...I tried to crop most of it out ;)

Cute! His face is good, he looks like he is smelling that oxen poop.

I think the girl from the future may have confused him. And no, I wouldn't have noticed the oxen poop if you hadn't mentioned it. Now I'll see it every time.

Colonial Williamsburg is really cool! We went there my sophomore year of high school (gah! that was something like 16 years ago!). I can't even imagine how hot those period costumes are... I feel bad for all of them!

Too funny!
I DIDN'T notice the oxen poop until you pointed it out!
AND your face is almost as priceless as his.
Like you're thinking, "Hey this guy must be really hot, dang I'm glad I wore shorts, and..I can't believe I am posing in front of poop!"
;-)

Very cool shot. I didn't notice the poop till you said lol.

Such a great place. Glad you got to see it. If you could have gotten him to stick you with his bayonet, you could have entered it in the "eerie" theme. He looks like he could do the job.

Lauren, you are kidding, right? Anthony Hopkins, The Silence of the Lambs, Dr. Hannibal Lecter? He's a classic!

When our kids were young we went to Williamsburg. My advice? Don't go in the middle of the summer. They hated it, and we didn't have a great time either. The heat and humidity made it unbearable. I do hear they have a nice Christmas presentation. Maybe next time.

The ox poop makes the pic.

You didn't know who Anthony Hopkins was? Did you not see Silence of the Lambs? Time to broaden your horizons. :-)

I was going to say what Luster said and also Slava, but that's ok I can still say Honey I think you looks fabulous - you are having the time of your life. I feel looking at this you were trying to get that Serious soldier to smile for the camera??? He didn't keel over (fall) after this photo I hope. I'm so glad it's been a real buzz seeing what pictures you have
submitted during your Beach holiday.

rayswrld - it has been way too long :) and I am with you on not going in the summer...it WAS quite humid...and I had a longsleeve shirt on too! but I always love looking through the shops...
haha you crack me up. I'd have to agree. again. the oxen poopy makes the picture!
and no I dont know who Hopkins is!!! Slava left me a link...and he looks somewhat familiar...but I have never seen those movies either :X
