These past couple of days have been absolutely gorgoeus. The weather has been in the mid-fifties with a slight breeze and the fresh scent of spring approaching has been exceptionally uplifting :) All the snow is finally melted and the sun has been shining more than usual. Guess what this means?
Happy Lauren. :)
In all reality, I know that its mid-February... the weather won't stay like this for much longer. But, I can assure you, Im relishing in this "warmth" and soaking up this delightful weather before winter strikes again. I had a mini photo adventure yesterday (until my battery died D:) and then a slightly larger one today. My sister and friend accompanied me this time :D
This is a picture of a golf course. That is why the grass is so green. Its crazy that even in winter this golf course contains such beautiful green grass! How is that lucious greeness even possible? haha Either way, it sure did help in producing such a calm and peaceful photo. It was so quiet... I would have layed in the grass if the sun hadn't gone down causing the temperatures to rapidly decrease. Plus the ground was all mushy and soaked from the abundance of previously melted snow.
That is some green grass!! The only other grass I have ever seen that green is at the duck pond here... which im guessing is from ducky poo lol. Anyways lovely picture! The last 2 days were somewhat nice here too but its back to cold now, boo. Can't wait for spring/summer!
@AshleyMiller - lol well... poo DOES fertilize grass :) Its funny because my dogs have to be chained up by the house every time they go out to do their busines... so in the summer, when you walk out our backdoor and the grass hasnt been mowed, there are little patches of super bright green grass scattered around the area their chains can reach haha and those patches are MUCH longer so they stick out. It looks hilarious haha
ohh my gosh. I cant wait for spring/summer too. It needs to come SOONER!
@eliserose781 - oh I'm so glad you've been getting some warmer weather too! it's wonderful!
@christiq - aw! thank you! haha I can assure you, where I live, it's not so spectacular. You have to keep in mind, pictures only capture a small frame of the whole area you could be looking at. Heck, for all you know, there could be a huge dumpster full of stinky poo and garbage to the left :)
@tabbycat - I'm glad they make you happy! :D the homesickness part is unfortunate, but I'm sure you'll live ;)
@digitalrn - It does doesnt it!! :D I can't wait for actual full blown spring to arrive :)
@marshy15 - haha! offended :) that part made me crack up. Yes, no worries, I had to add this one. I love the color of the grass and the big tree. Theres something about huge trees that draw me to them...
