3 of these cute little raccoons were wandering about in my backyard this morning. My mom literally walked into my room this morning as I was sleeping with a baby raccoon on her shoulder! I don't know how smart of her that was haha but it was definitely an interesting sight to wake up to. I couldn't help but to take advantage of this opportunity to take some cute baby raccoon pictures! This is probably the sweetest straight-on shot I got of the cute little guy... he's so adorable! He was following me around and talking to me all morning.
I think your Mom took an awful chance. Raccoons can be a source for rabies. They are cute but I would be very wary around them, especially if their Mom is feeling protective.
