So for months now, maybe half a year, we haven't had any sort of window coverings on our large set of living room windows. We use to have curtains hanging there but had an unfortunate incident involving the curtains and my cats. So we decided to get some blinds instead.
What I discovered is that in order for my husband and I to remain peaceful and happy, we should not work on these sorts of projects together :)
I couldn't help arguing and fighting, telling him they were crooked while he was up on the ladder trying to install the blinds. So we laughed about it and I decided it was best for both of our sanity if I went to bed.
The blinds looked great when I woke up this morning :)
Nice picture and as for the diy as a pair... well after years of practice my other half and I make quite a good team and work well together.... (my tongue is quite badly bitten now though!! lol!!)
haha! Your story reminds me of my fiance and I! We don't usually cook together anymore. He cooks a lot and I'm pretty bad at it... but I think I know what I'm doing, so when I step into "his" kitchen, it ends with arguments. haha. We just avoid that situation now! lol
