The Last Flower

This is the one and only flower I see still standing along the walk from my bus stop to my house.

Also I noticed people starting to wear boots and hats today which makes me a little sad that snow will come soon and fall will be over. But also sort of happy that I will get to wear boots and hats again. I never use to wear winter hats until last year when I discovered how well they hide messy hair :)

My theme so far this week seems to be Over-Edited. played around in Picnik with this shot...

Love boots and sweater weather! We don't have enough of it here in SC... before I know it, it'll be hot, humid, muggy, and my clothes will stick to my skin again! Interesting shot of your last flower though. Sort of a sad feel to it.

Pretty!! Luv that texture!! Lauren you sound so much like me!!!! I used to NEVERthink about wearing hats when I was in school, but the last like....four or five years I have become obsessed with them around this time of year and through winter!! Like u said, they hide messy hair :) and I like that too!! Haha. I luv buying hats like I luv buying purses!!! Lol. Hats r one of the few things I like about winter....oh!! AND SCARVES too!!!!

Lauren, I like other overall purple tone to this and the textured stucco.
