When I went to pick up my winter greens from a new farmer friend, I found this tree in his front yard in bloom. I have no idea what it is. I've never seen anything like it before. But it sure made me happy. I'm still working on the bokeh thing. Did I achieve it or are are the background branches too sharply defined?
What you have captured here is fantastic DOF. Your front bloom has great focus and your blooms in back are blurred. Bokeh is more blurred. This is a fantastic capture. Beautiful color, subject, and composition.
Paula, thank you so much for explaining the difference between DOF and bokeh. So, I'm still on a quest. Rose, I loved the yellow too! It looked like sunshine on a cloudy day, which is how I should have titled this one. In fact I might go back and do just that.
