My husband and I have both been working doubles all week, so we took today off and went to lunch at Napi's in Provincetown with my parents today. Then we headed to Race Point to try to see the right whales. There are only 400 to 500 right whales in the world and about half of them are off the coast of Cape Cod. We saw a few breaches way out, but nothing that would ever show up in a photograph. But I did find this sweet piece of beach glass among the rocky line where the waves break. Stopped for ice cream on our way home. It was the most perfect day I've had in a very long time.
What a fantastic day! It's heartbreakingly sad about the Right Whales...these beach rocks are gorgeous. The top one looks like an ice cube. I could spend quite a bit of time going through these, looking for that one perfect gem to take home.
Nice shot of the beach glass... I have always looked for that, but have never been successful at finding any.. I like the contrast of it's texture with the pebbles.. and what a nice way to spend lunch! :-D
that really does sound like a perfect day! this is a beautiful photo - i love all the different tones and the detail. and I LOVE searching for sea glass!
