Sometimes you never know what will be the best photo of the day. My teenage son joined 365 today and we took a walk in Nickerson State Park with cameras in hand. This was the first shot I took, and it really was the best one I got, even if it is a bit redundant. Guess there was no reason to lay in the forest for the macro-shot of a little plant with red berries, at which point my son said, "You look ridiculous," and walked away. Afterwards we went to the grocery store to buy something for dinner and he put a quarter in one of the machines full of junk as we were leaving and got little discs with the ying/yang symbols, which placed on the dash of my car made his perfect photo.
That's hilarious, Mom. We already have a little parakeet that Julie and Gary brought home a few weeks ago. So this guy can stay in the forest. You have to check out Melissa's at honeybee86 and Tommy at tommyhiggins, and then join the fun and get posting photos!
Typical surly teen response for ya! This really is a fantastic shot...that bird's expression made me chuckle when I saw it. I'll have to check out the perfect ying/yang shot.
