The little red short haired miniature dachshund in back is our girl, Sadie, and the much larger cream long haired miniature dachshund in the front (Duffy) is our friends' who we babysat last night so they could attend their son's graduation in Boston. I took over 60 photos of these two, but it was like trying to take a photo of jumping fleas. They are so active, it was very hard to get a good photo of two of them. This is the best I could manage with my son's help (he's on the other end of those leashes). I decided to go with the photo that best respresented the day...trying to get back to work after three days off while taking care of these two was a challenge. It reminded me of chasing toddlers, which they kind of are since they are both around 2 years old.
Brings back memories - what cuddlebuckets - I used to have a long-haired, silver dapple miniature that went to work with me every day. Stole my heart he did. I've only ever seen a 'blonde' one in photos.
Cute, cute, cute.. one for each of the puppies and one for the photographer.. '-D... That Duffy, dudess, she's got it going on with that doo on her ears!!!! Stylin's babbeee.. I like the shot.. and Sadie is just the girl for my dad . he would love the bejezus outta her!!!! (don't tell his black lab, Shadow, that doxies are his favorite.. that is a secret between you and me Laurie.. K??? ;-)
They both really are adorable, Sadie is so funny! Remember when I brought Ty and how she woul act around him, it was hilarious...barking and freaking out! :)
lovely.... dog sleepover... I know exactly how you feel... being a vet and a dog lover and mother it is just insane sometimes to get some good shots of them.
