Thank you for all the postive comments yesterday. The support of the 365 community is simply amazing and I appreciate it so much. I'm still caught up in the vintage theme and this time a pile of old books won. I love books more than most people I know and I'm not satisfied with just going to the library. I have to own them, so I can refer back to them, touch them and study writing techniques such as first paragraphs, point of view, metaphors and beautiful language. The background of this shot is a partial view of the bottom two shelves of the floor to ceiling bookshelves in my living room. There are also three enormous bookshelves in my office and at least one pile of books in every room in the house.
I was in Boston for the day yesterday, so it is taking me a while to catch up on comments. Yes, a get-together would be nice. you probably live in the best area for that, but all the tourists on the Cape in the summer makes me crazy. LOL
