I was hoping to take a night photo today, but really, night time is pretty boring around here. No bright lights, big city. No foggy piers with cool gas lighting. The themes each week elude me...but I wanted to do a different than usual photo and this car was parked outside the Chinese restaurant where my husband and I had dinner tonight. The eyes on the headlights made me smile, as did the lighthouse painted on the windshield. CCLCS on the passenger side of the windshield stands for Cape Cod Lighthouse Charter School, where my two oldest daughters went to middle school. It is located in a plaza right next to the Hunan Gourmet restaurant, and despite it's strange location, it is an awesome school. The kids obviously painted this.
I have a thing for wacky cars! I love that everything is painted-- the tires, grill, side mirrors, & hub caps! Great capture! I didn't do a night shot either --though I did think about shooting my cough syrup and box of Kleenex at 3am earlier this week. I quickly changed my mind...Maybe next theme for us!
