Tonight my husband and I drove up to Boston to attend a launch party at the Chestnut Hill Bloomingdale's for Southern New England Living magazine. It is a gorgeous glossy coffee table style magazine and I’m very proud to have written three stories in their premiere issue. I’m more of a farmers’ market gal than a cocktail party girl, but we had a lot of fun walking around the very ritzy store with a glass of wine in hand. Throughout the store there were six food tasting stations and these cupcakes with roses on top were the best shot I got of a very fun evening that included meeting the magazine's “cover girl,” Senator Scott Brown’s incredibly lovely wife, Gail Huff.
Wow! That is so awesome that you had 3 stories published in the new magazine!!! Congratulations! What a proud moment. As for the cupcakes, I might have had to dig right in! I'm a total sweet freak! Thanks for virtually sharing :)
A night of celebration in Boston --- sounds like you had a great time. Congrats on your articles. I tried to find them but the internet is only giving opening remarks, and even then, is not identifying the writers. Did you have a rose dessert for each article? lol They look amazing, and no, I totally did not guess your photo! lol
How fun! (I would be more at home at the Farmers Market too) These are really pretty though--are they edible? Congrats on your contribution to the magazine, that's exciting
what a great experience. i first looked at the shot and said to myself...yum...that looks tasty...then i said..omg that is a real rose and maybe that is not food...then i read what you wrote and felt better that i wanted to have a bite when i first saw it. :).... great shot...sounds like a great event. :)
