Usually my husband is patient with my photography obsession, but not so much tonight. He's a chef and worked in a 120 degree kitchen all day. He just wanted to go out to dinner and sit in air conditioning and a detour for photos was not going to make him happy. These black-eyed Susans were in front of the restaurant where we ate tonight. The made me think of this song: p://youtu.be/kqXSBe-qMGo
you have to admit our spouses are patient with us. I have to leave a half hour early for everything in case I see a shot. LOL. I faved this because of the clarity and vivid color
Wonderful pic, Laurie! Your link made me smile. Check this out: http://youtu.be/wZpHfO_z0Wo
It's one of a dozen or so videos I made when I got bored in the winter. This is a glimpse of what you'll see when I have snow instead of flowers in my garden .... ;-)
@sunnygreenwood Oh, my gosh - your woodpecker video on You Tube made me so happy. That was so fun, and his wandering eye made me wonder if he really is missing his brown-eyed girl or looking for her replacement! Thank you for sharing that, Anne!
hi my friend...this is a total fav for me. the way you got this one grouping in the forefront and the other out of focus in the back really balances out the shot...that is so cool that your hubby is a chef....does he like to cook for you? always thought that would be great...my dear friend is a chef and it is always great to go to her house for dinner.. and you are the best commenter ever btw....thanks so much for all your comments everyday ..
love your Van the Man Morrison quote, most of all love this perspective and DOF, Love that you are really obviously enjoying playing with your new camera as your pics are great!!
Yikes--I've done that before (vegetarian chef) and being in a hot kitchen is NO fun. I can totally empathize! I think this shot is beautiful--I like all the flowers in the background
fantastic dof on this Laurie! I can't thank you enough for your support and encouragement during this crazy time. Your words have been such a help. Thanks so much!! Stay tuned. . .
