When the sun finally came out today, I was so happy, I just ran around the yard taking photos of the sun...on everything I could find. My Canon is at the camera shot getting the sensor cleaned, so I'm back to my trusty point and shoot and missing the big guy alot. I feel like someone stole my favorite child, not that I have a favorite child, but I do have a favorite camera.
You got some great bokeh from your little P & S! It was nice to see the sun, but I think 81 deg is too hot. :-)
Anyway, great composition and contrasting colors
I love this. It's so simple and yet the details are captured perfectly. You're getting to be a pretty darn good photographer, Laurie. And here I am with only a P & S, which is about the amount of time I have for any learning curve. Just keep it simple!
@digitalrn@robinwarner Karen Sylvia here on 365 is the one who alerted me to getting the sensor cleaned. The guy at the (less than friendly) camera shop said mine was filthy, but when I asked him how often this should be done, he didn't give me a straight answer. "Whenever you notice spots on your images," is what he said. I was thinking about taking a class at that photo shop, but not so much anymore. I'll find another class with more helpful people.
Anyway, great composition and contrasting colors
