@glb484 Oops, I just figured out that you meant the contest to the Clinton concert in LA. I entered, but it felt like buying a lottery ticket - a million or trillion to one that I would actually win, so I put it out of my mind.
@robinwarner Thanks for your kind words and support...you absolutely got exactly what this photo meant to me and what I was thinking when I took it! The kind of trapped I feel sometimes is mostly of my own making. Thanks to this photo and the thoughts it generated in me, I actually said no to a regular writing gig I just didn't want to do because I've decided I will trust that my career will go forward so I don't need to go backwards. Unlike the most of the people you photograph, my bars are as flimsy as that storm fencing and there is a sunset just beyond them if only I dare reach for it. Your comment really solidified that for me, Robin.

@alecio Thank you for all your wonderful and kind comments and favs! As much as I would love to come to LA and hope to one day, there are no plans yet. Robin is coming to Boston in October so I'm driving up to meet her. I can't wait!
