SOOC - Sometimes all you get is a gull shaking water off it's feathers. The forecast is gloomy for the rest of the week, so when the sun peeked out for an hour, I ran down to Ellis Landing to see if they were still digging up the buried right whale. It was gone, so this lowly gull is all I found. Steve and I are going out to dinner and the theater with friends tonight and I thought about bringing my camera in hopes of a better photo, but then decided not to drag it along.

He is gorgous! Love it. Looks like he's staring off to sea. I went down to see about that whale today to after I read it in the paper this morning. Should have gone earlier, I read later online that it was gone by noon. Oh well, the early bird....so they say. I'll learn some day not to drag my feet in the mornings.
