Finally...

The sun came out today and I figured out where I needed to go on this elbow shaped island I live on to view a late year sunset. It's not a spectacular sunset, but it was a bit of a personal triumph in navigation. For the record, the sun set at 4:20 p.m. I'm pretty sure that is the middle of the afternoon!

Beautiful sunset scene Laurie - I love the sun setting over the ocean best. We go to the Vineyard every year and make a point of getting out to Menemsha to watch the sun set there - it's always so spectacular!
