Swan Love

I spent about an hour today walking around Salt Pond in Eastham, photographing swans. There were six swans total and it was so much fun watching them.

I love the way swans glide in the water .. and my favorite story was of the ugly duckling when I was a sprout... I walked away from that one with granddaddy feeling hopeful. Nice shot Laurie.. and they are cuddling.... bonus!!!

Perfect angle to get their heads together like that. I love seeing the swans when we kayak at Bell's Neck, though some has hissed at me and I never have a camera for fear of getting it wet. Glad you were able to spend some time photographing these. They are so elegant.
