Our daughter Melissa's birthday is Thursday, but she has to work that night, so we celebrated tonight. This is the first birthday she has been home in 9 years. When she lived in Arkansas, Charleston and Fort Lauderdale, her birthday fell too close to Christmas for a return trip home. On her birthday last year, I posted a photo in 365 of her in Charleston titled, "Photo I Wish I Could Take Today." This year I got my wish. I hope she gets hers too...

I love the colorful bokeh...it adds some extra magic to the photo. Do you still have Christmas lights up, like me? I also like the warm golden color from the candle light. Happy Birthday, Melissa! Alles gute zum Geburtstag!
