Mansion at Ocean Edge by lauriehiggins

Mansion at Ocean Edge

I was tempted to post a filler today, but my oldest daughter, Jess, joined 365 four days ago and I'm trying to help her get into the 365 groove. A photo every day, just keep posting...

Jess is a single mom, living in San Francisco on the opposite side of the country from her family and friends. She's working as a nanny, while trying to find a job that utilizes her recent master's degree in social work from Boston University.

I’m not sure how much time she will have to comment and join the community, but if anyone wants to just stop by and welcome her to 365, that would be wonderful. http://365project.org/jess1777/365

*Edit: This used to be a private residence and then a Catholic seminary. It is now a hotel. The history of the mansion can be found here: http://oceanedgebrewster.com/ocean_edge_history.html

She has a really good look on a photo which appeals. I loved all her photos as I do with this one.. Instant Cape Cod

Well that is neat that she wants to join in on the fun here on 365. I will stop by her page and welcome her. This house is gorgeous, but wow, the upkeep must be overwhelming

Wow!

Ocean Edge is gorgeous. For laughs, I looked at it when we were getting married, and it was absolutely astronomical, but I can see why with the buildings and the setting. LOVE that light!

I love Ocean Edge. Now you're going to post a photo of the second mansion that's right next to this one tomorrow, right? I love them both.

What, you didn't read the no tresspassing signs I posted on the perimeter? Lovely shot of my home though....;-)

Stunning shot. I love the color contrast of it. I will definitely stop by Jess's page.

Gorgeous place! I've heard the prices there are insane. I like the light on it. I'll definitely have a good part of my fingerprint when it is healed, but I'll have to wait and see how much.

I cleaned that place when they renovated. So this isn't a fav. Nice photographic skills; it might be a little too light if I were to critique.

give us her site and we will check it out. Love this shot, the place is huge

Way to make me sound lonely mom! ;) Pretty.

@carmichaelbev I cleaned it too, and the only thing I remember about it is the incredible wool carpeting...

@jess1777 Ha! But is there anything that I wrote that isn't true? I know you are making your own way in CA, and I'm very proud of you. But 365 is alot more fun and fulfilling with friends, and I've just screened them for you. Anyone who has gone over from here to check you out is a person you want to know. I promise.

@sarasdadandmom Terry I put the link in above, but it might have gotten lost in my words. Here it is again: http://365project.org/jess1777/365

I think it is really cool that this website fosters such relationships. It's like a real neighborhood.
