I had to go to the Chatham Fish Pier today to take a photo of a fishing boat for my food column this week. While I was there, I took photos of other boats too and this one leaving for a pleasure ride on this balmy day. There are more and more boats in the water each day, which makes my heart happy.
That one red boat is mine! :-) Love the bits of red in this shot--my boat, the life saver, & the bottom of the boat in the background! What an elaborate set up for this shot LH!
Beautiful shot, Laurie! We both had the same idea - heading down to a harbor. I went down to Cohasset Harbor this morning - the weather was so beautiful and it's so picturesque. I love the little red boat in the foreground!
I love the composition with those posts on the right and all the negative space on the left. well crafted image, my dear! And yes, it feels like magic!
Another wonderful harbor shot, Laurie. Love the little green and red boats, too ... nice pop of color. My husband was just commenting yesterday about how much fun it is to see the Cape coming alive right now. You're so right -- changes every day.
LOVE this! I'm so excited that boating season is here, even if I am boatless. Chatham is so pretty, but I'm glad I don't have to navigate that inlet on a regular basis. We did it once, and it's nasty!
FAV! One of my favorite places on the Cape, and you've captured it perfectly. That the boat is named Magic really added to the magic of this photo. Nicely done, Laurie.
