What're You Looking At?

Since I took more than 300 photos of the hawk, I decided to post one more today. This time I went for the more humorous look, rather than the regal one. Plus I wanted a photo of the bigger scene in my album. Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments and faves on yesterday's photo! This community is the best...
Looks like he is saying, " ok lets get this over with" LOL

Oooh the feathers on the grass make this a serious "circle of life" shot. Too bad for the crow....

@jsw0109 It was a crow, Jeff. Or at least that's what the store clerk told me just before I abandoned my produce and debit card and ran for my camera. I didn't get close enough to verify, but it seemed about right.

Great catch! What a funny looking bird.

Both photos are gorgeous. I like the little detail of innards on the right of the beak in yesterday's one. Have you thought to submit one of your images to your local paper? "Hawk tears the local Crow community apart".

@sheliwithani Your words made me laugh, Sheli. I actually do write and take photos for my local newspaper and I sent the hawk photo I posted yesterday to my editor for my weekly food column because I wrote about some of the dangers to our backyard chickens. Hawks are pretty high on the list.
