Our Other Chickadee Family

Mondays are my craziest work days, and today was no exception. The photo of the day was a bit close to home...hmmm flowers or chickadees? This little daddy won. Mom is inside tending the eggs. This or a similar family have taken up residence every year in the birdhouse my grandmother painted for me so long ago, when her hand was still steady and when she still painted....
