More bad weather heading our way. The dreary day had me feeling like taking a different kind of shot than normal. My get-pushed challenge this week is to take a black and white abstract showing texture. I'm working my way toward that, but abstract is going to be hard for me.
this is a really great shot, Laurie! I know this will sound weird, but I long for a rainy day. We just don't get too many here, so when we do, it's a treat.
@ellen You made me laugh out loud with that comment, Ellen. Oh that we could switch places for a day! I actually love all the seasons and the variety of weather we get, but too many rainy days in a row gives me the blues.
@5unflow3r Great! I'm trying to shake it up and these get pushed challenges are great for making you think outside the box. You don't seem to have the same problem as I do with that, but I'm finding it really inspiring.
This is a great shot Laurie and I would say you have met the challenge. I see different textures in the water, the pipe and the bowl. Very nice. My landscapes may be a little late I am sorry..... a cow squashed my arm and i am not able to drive (so no going out of town to get a landscape without houses) and I have to keep it in a sling- I am hoping to get some on the weekend though.
Well this isn't your usual but I really truly like it. Only you would have thought to take a drainpipe and be able to give it character and beauty!!
